Keen Learners Montessori

At Keen Learners Montessori, we have two campuses in Fremont: one in Baine Avenue, and another in Alder Avenue. They are in convenient locations for commuting to work.

Our Baine Ave location welcomes children aged 18 months to 6 years, while our Alder Avenue campus accepts children from 2 to 6 years old. As part of the American Montessori Society, we are proud to hold genuine AMS certification.

Our team works well together to maintain a safe and nurturing space for the children in our care.

Qualified Preschool Teacher

We’re seeking a qualified Preschool Teacher to join our team.

Do you enjoy working with children and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities? Would you like to be part of a supportive working environment at an AMS-accredited school?

At Keen Learners Montessori, we provide a weekly theme-based curriculum, creating varied and engaging days for both the children and our team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a fun, hygienic and safe learning environment
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Keep parents updated on their child’s educational development and progress
• Work alongside school staff and the leadership team to support enrolment, accreditation, growth and engagement goals

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Completed 12 Core Early Childhood Education units
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate effectively with children and parents
• Previous preschool, childcare or teaching experience, or a relevant equivalent
• Passionate about working with children and able to build positive relationships
• Basic computer skills
• A positive and patient attitude
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain them
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Montessori certification desirable
• Completed Infant and Toddler courses desirable
